Entry-Level AV Technician

Cloud 9 Integrated Systems (“Cloud 9”) is a residential electronics system integration company located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Cloud 9 provides system design, project management, system installation, and continuing service and support to integrate technology into the residences and lives of its clientele.

Cloud 9 is seeking a motivated individual looking for a career with a desire to advance in an ever-growing company and industry. Technicians will be trained on the complete technical installation and configuration of residential electronic systems. Technicians will work with a team (including a Project Manager, System Engineer & Software Programmer) to install and integrate electronic sub-systems including audio/video, home theater, lighting control, shades and window treatments, home networks, climate control, and CCTV systems.

Successful candidates will be required to have a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and display attention to detail. Candidates who have a working knowledge of construction is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Preferred Skills: Experience working with, installing, and configuring high-end consumer electronics

lighting, shading, home automation, computer network and security systems.

Cloud 9 operates at the upper end of the
Steamboat residential systems market and prides itself on its professional approach to all aspects of company operations.

applicant will have excellent people skills, be a self-starter, have the ability to multi-task and have strong computer skills. A
general list of expected responsibilities includes:
● Professional telephone demeanor – representation of the company on inbound and outbound calls with clients,
suppliers, trade partners, service providers, and internal staff.
● Well organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn. Self‐motivated with initiative to start and finish
tasks independently.
● Comfortable working in an office environment.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Administrative coordination of travel, appointments, apparel orders, miscellaneous fleet tasks, and office events
● Data entry including client, vendor and inventory records as needed.
● Operational support for HR and accounting departments including email correspondence, mail distribution,
paperwork/documents processing and organization
● Sales and marketing support
● Showroom organization support: assisting with upkeep and cleanliness of office, assisting with errands as needed
● Computer skills: Office productivity in Microsoft or Google environments (word processing, spreadsheets, email);
Training provided for cloud‐based applications.
● Preferred experience: light accounting or book‐keeping experience; experience with procurement, warehouse and
material management
