Puerto Rico
In September of 2017, Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico and left its residents stranded without power or clean water. Sonnen partnered with Pura Energia to bring communities together and impact future generations. Their solar panels and batteries powered things from laundry facilities in La Perla to a community center in Humacao. Their contributions prevented illness from water contamination and allowed the community access to energy, clean water, wifi, and food. The community center in Humacao was even able to provide wifi to FEMA workers when they were unable to get it anywhere else.
