Security Systems

A security system provides safety from intrusion and it also offers detection of smoke, gas, water leaks, and extreme temperature in sensitive zones. With monitoring activated, emergency services will respond rapidly if an intrusion or fire is detected.

Intrusion detection

For intrusion detection, contact sensors are installed on doors and windows to detect if they are open. Motion detectors are installed in key locations for alerts of physical presence. Glass break sensors can also be installed for rapid alert of forced intrusion.

Heat detectors are tied in to detect fires in areas that are naturally smoky or dusty, such as kitchens, garages, and basements. You can also family’s well-being by monitoring carbon monoxide, natural gas and LP gas.

To protect your home and belongings from mechanical failures, sensors can be installed in sensitive areas. Water sensors can be located under sinks, near boilers. Additionally a water shut off system can be tied in to cut off all water to the house upon an alarm event or at the press of a button. Freeze and heat detectors are also commonly used in locations.

Access Control

Door Entry Systems

Door entry systems can be standalone or integrated into your phone system, so that when someone rings the doorbell, your phone rings. You can pick up to speak to the visitor, or press a button to open the gate.Add video capability, and you can see who’s there.

Or program your doorbell to pause the music system so you never miss a ring, no matter how loud you like your music. Together, we can customize a solution to your specific needs.

Automated Door Locks

An automated door lock is a convenient way to allow housekeepers and maintenance people access to your home. It is smart enough to report to your security system when someone enters or exits the house, as well as which passcode was used. You can receive a text or email when this happens which is a great way to know when people come and go.

Protect sensitive areas of your home like gun rooms, wine cellars and home theaters by installing automated door locks on interior doors. Different sizes are available and some include the actual handset or doorknob. We’ll help you choose the one that’s right for your door and needs.

Garage Door Control

Open and close garage doors from home or away. Great for letting in service people when you are away. (Security system must be integrated.)
